Firstly, I provide the perfect musical backdrop from before your ceremony until the end of the night. Secondly, I make sure that everything runs perfectly according to your plans.
After years as a succesful pub, club and party DJ, I undertook expert professional training to be able to create memorable weddings.
You may not have initially considered the option of an all-day wedding DJ or Master of Ceremonies. However, many couples quickly see the value in not only having their music requirements looked after throughout the entire day, but also to have someone hosting the day. I ensure that your day flows smoothly and all your guests are fully informed of all the key moments.
Wedding Ceremony Music Production
Many civil wedding ceremonies are at the same venue as your wedding reception. Have you considered who is providing the soundtrack for your wedding ceremony? For that crucial moment as you walk down the aisle? It may surprise you that the registrar doesn’t look after the music. Instead it may be one of your guests or a junior member of staff. Sometimes it’s a CD player or a phone into the venue’s music system. I prefer to remove the risk of pressing play on the wrong track or a CD skipping. Let me expertly fade in and out your music at the proper time on a discrete, high quality system.
I’ll play background music as your guests arrive. I can edit your processional song, so as you walk down the aisle, it reaches the perfect point to fade it out. I’ll provide tunes whilst you sign the register. Finally I’ll increase the volume for your recessional song as you leave as a newly married couple!
Of course, I offer free, expert advice on all of these steps.
Drinks Reception Background Music
I bring the atmosphere to your drinks reception. Background music handpicked by you, or allow me to select the perfect tracks. And with a battery-powered discrete sound system for outside, I can take the music to where your guests are! Acting as host, I can assist your photographer with rounding up the guests for the group photos, arrange your ‘confetti shot’ and ensure the Call to Dinner occurs promptly so that everyone is seated in time for food service.
The Wedding Breakfast
Adding in well-chosen music will save the wedding breakfast from just being a ‘meal’. Instead, together we’ll create a truly personalised wedding breakfast. It’s a great time to play those favourite songs that just aren’t right for an evening of dancing.
My hosting skills will ensure you receive the perfect introduction in to the room with enthusiastic cheers and appaluse. I want fun and participation from everyone! This is a key photo opportunity at every wedding and we need to make the most of it.
In addition, I can provide fun interactions with your guests if required. Pearls of Wisdom s always popular but the Mr & Mrs gameis a great ice-breaker. Others include a table photo dash, wedding speech bingo and many other original ideas.
Plus, I get everyone in place ready for the speeches, and provide a high quality wireless microphone. Your guests will hear every word. I introduce each speaker and ensure they get a great response by acting as cheeerleader for laughter and applause.
Evening Reception Party
Following your First Dance (and any other formal family dances), I’ll get the party started with the soundtrack to your evening reception party. I’ll play a baig range of floorfillers, with a truly personalised playlist that is reflective of you and your guests tastes and personalities, rather than relying on the same old few cheesy ‘typical’ wedding songs.
The above service can only be delivered by talking you through all the options in person, which is why a meeting is so valuable. Working through your timeline, I offer help and advice to ensure your day flows, and is fully customised to your tastes. I don’t offer a generic service so I don’t offer generic pricing
