Planning Your Daytime Music
Your music during the day sets the tone for the whole wedding and gives your guests an idea of what’s coming later. By watching how they react, I can also have a great insight into what will work in the evening.
I prefer to remain in the room during your wedding breakfast. I pick up some absolute gems from your guests and often from the speeches and I feel a closer connection to your wedding. In our meetings I have some great ideas to make your wedding one that everyone will talk about for years to come.
Planning Your Evening Music
When it comes to your evening music, I’ll read the crowd, consider age groups, and play requested songs. I start with recognizable tunes to fill the floor, then transition to your suggestions. Check out my blog for some advice here.

My diverse music collection and eclectic taste allow me to cater to almost any genre. The ultimate goal is to play the music you want to hear and enjoy myself in the process.
Expert Equipment
Using a customised Pioneer controller and advanced software, I mix your personalised wedding playlist and control the lighting like your favourite club DJs.
I’m a big fan of all things soul so Motown, Stax and Atlantic, Northern, 70s disco and funk. I love reggae and ska, rock n roll, in fact most things you can dance or sing to! I go to concerts and stage shows at every opportunity. New music is always on my radar as I subscribe to music pools and listen to the radio.
I love my couples to share their Spotify lists with me so I can see what they like to listen to.
If I don’t feel confident in fulfilling your requirements I’d rather turn down a wedding– another reason for meeting you beforehand. If you want 6 hours of UK garage, drum ‘n’ bass or dubstep, I’m not the DJ for you. However, if you want 30 minutes of absolutely any genre incorporating, then I will make it work.
You will be amazed at your guests’ reactions to some of my track selections, mashups and mixes.
To ensure everyone has a great time at weddings, I prefer to have the flexibility to make changes on the fly. I provide recommendations and advice on how the evening usually works best during a meeting. Unless they are excellent floor fillers, I do not take an extensive list of “must play” songs nor a track by track playlist.
I am very flexible and happy to work with you but I won’t compromise my reputation.
